Reiki (pronounced "Ray-Kee") is an ancient healing art rediscovered in the 19th Century by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki literally translates to "God's (Rei) Energy (Ki)." Christians might relate to it as the Holy Spirit or the healing power of God and will recognize the human touch involved in the laying on of hands used in some of the Christian Sacraments. The Reiki Practitioner is one who has been trained and attuned to serve as a means of transfer for this energy or life force. The Art of Reiki teaches that this life force is all around us, and that it has the power to heal.

In a healthy state the flow of energy through the body is even and balanced. Illness or stress can cause the energy flow to become unbalanced or blocked. Reiki helps to reinstate the balanced flow of energy in the body. During a Reiki treatment the Reiki Practitioner will gently lay his or her hands on specific points of the recipient's body

FIRST DEGREE REIKI TRAINING

First Degree Reiki Training enables you to channel Reiki energy to yourself and others to promote balance and harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. Reiki energy helps reduce stress, brings comfort and calm, and accelerates the body's natural healing process.

SECOND DEGREE REIKI TRAINING
with Reiki Master Marie David

and April 2 & 3, 2011

Second Degree Reiki Certification teaches three techniques to expand Reiki energy. The first technique increases the channeling power of Reiki. The second technique is used to work on emotional and mental issues. The third technique utilizes Reiki for absent or distance healing.

Prerequisite: Completion of First Degree Reiki Training.

Fee for commuters: $300 per person

Reiki Training Session

REIKI MASTER
PRACTITIONER
with Reiki Master Marie David
in two sessions:
April 16 & May 7, 2011

This training is for individuals who are seeking the Master level attunement without continuing on to teach Reiki and give attunements. Reiki Master Practitioner Training provides the Reiki Practitioner the opportunity to gain knowledge and attunement in spiritual healing, bringing wellness to body, mind, and spirit. This holistic approach towards wellness and healing is the focus of Reiki practice issues as well as personal wellness and growth. Following a clinical model participants will engage in case studies, sharing their personal Reiki journey, and discussion regarding hands-on experience. The training also includes presentations on expanded Reiki techniques.

Prerequisite: Must have completed Second
Reiki Training at least six months prior.
Commuter Fee: $750 per person
for Parts 1 & 2

REIKI MASTER TEACHER TRAINING

Those who wish to complete Reiki Master Training must have completed first and second degree Reiki Training as outlined above. The Reiki Master Training consists of six training sessions. The first two sessions are identified as Reiki Master Practitioner Training as described above. Students who wish to receive the Master's Level Attunement but who do not wish to go on to become a Reiki Master /Teacher would stop at this point. Those who are interested in becoming a Reiki Master / Teacher would go on to the final four training sessions. At the completion of the final four sessions participants will have learned the process of attunements and will have become trained as Reiki Master Teacher.

Total cost for Reiki Master training is $2,250 (this includes the $750 fee for Reiki Master Practitioner). Payment will be divided into 6 equal payments of $375 made at the time of each session.
